Prized University of Miami commit Jordan Scarlett rushed for three touchdowns and 124 yards as the St. Thomas Aquinas football team (12-1) rolled over Royal Palm Beach 52-7 in the Region 4-7A final.


Haanif Cheatham, Pines Charter, boys’ basketball: The 6-5 Marquette signee had a game-high 32 points to lead the Jaguars (3-1) over Orlando Oak Ridge 89-71.

Ryan Stanley, Flanagan, football: Stanley went 21 of 28 for 357 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score to lead Flanagan (13-0) over Wellington 32-0 in the Region 4-8A final.

Dominique Jackson, Boyd Anderson, girls’ basketball: The 5-11 junior guard had a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cobras over host Blanche Ely 67-60.

Ethan Elalouf, Western, boys’ soccer: Elalouf’s goal held up as the Wildcats (6-1-2) edged Nova 1-0.

Alyssa Burden and Brenda Royo, Coral Glades, girls’ soccer: Burden and Royo each scored a goal for the Jaguars in a 4-1 victory over Coral Springs.

Kyshaun Bryan, American Heritage, football: Bryan rushed for two touchdowns to lead the reigning Class 5A state champion Patriots (9-3) over Cape Coral Island Coast 56-8 in the Region 4-5A final.

Austin Vaughn, Coral Springs Charter, boys’ basketball: Vaughn had a game-high 22 points and nine rebounds to lead the Panthers over Cypress Bay 70-58.

Keyanna Warthen, Fort Lauderdale, girls’ basketball: Warthen had a team-high 24 points to lead the Flying L’s (4-1) over Northeast 56-41.

Gabriel Lopez, Douglas, boys’ soccer: Lopez had two goals to lead the Eagles over Hollywood Hills 4-0.

Amanda Perez and Yari Bradfield, Archbishop McCarthy, girls’ soccer: Perez and Bradfield each scored a goal to lead the Mavericks (9-2-1) over arch rival Cardinal Gibbons 2-1.
