Anthony Sims carries Nova to first district football title since 1995

Anthony Sims ran for a 65-yard touchdown in the second quarter as Nova (5-4, 4-1) defeated host McArthur (6-3, 3-2) 34-17. Sims ran for two more scores as the Titans dominated with their punishing running attack.

The win, combined with West Broward’s 23-13 win against Cooper City and the tiebreaker in their favor, assured the Titans their first district title since 1995.
