Dillard routs Boynton Beach to wrap up playoff berth

Dillard scored 33 first half points to pull away from Boynton Beach (4-5, 1-2) and clinch a playoff berth Friday night with a 45-12 victory at Otis Gray Jr. Memorial Stadium. Dillard (6-3, 2-1) will face Carol City in the Class 6A regional final.

Dillard went up 19-0 in the first quarter on a 12-yard touchdown reception by Jordan Merrell, 49-yard run by Rod’Darius Johnson and a 16-yard fumble return by Walter Lequarius.

Moises Francois: Threw three touchdown passes for 76 yards. Rushed for 17 yards on three carries.
