McArthur too much for Cooper City 52-22
The host Mustangs (5-0, 2-0 in 15-7A) outscored the Cowboys (2-3, 1-1) by 20 in the second half to win 52-22 and remain unbeaten after finishing 0-10 last year.
McArthur jumped to a 19-0 lead off three Cooper City turnovers and had five takeaways overall. The Cowboys cut their deficit to three midway through the third but the Mustangs responded with two scores in three minutes on passes by freshman quarterback Deon Jones.

Dominick Watt: The sophomore caught five passes for 150 yards and two scores.
Rashad Weaver: The senior defensive lineman (committed to Michigan) had a interception for touchdown as well as a sack and forced fumble.
