Calvary Christian Academy edges Pine Crest to win Southeastern Football Conference North Division

Sophomore Massi Gamble rushed for 102 yards on 19 carries and scored three touchdowns as Calvary Christian Academy defeated Pine Crest 21-20 to win the Southeastern Football Conference North Division.

Senior Parker Collins caught three passes for 80 yards to lead the Eagles in receiving. Gamble's last score, a 1-yard plunge, gave the Eagles their first lead with 6:52 to play in the game. Pine Crest (5-5, 4-5) led the entire game up to that point. Panthers quarterback Zach Smith completed 9 of 11 passes for 100 yards. He did not misfire until the last drive of the game. Smith also scored on a 1-yard run.

Rushane Wilson rushed for 89 yards on 24 carries for Pine Crest. Jordan Schulefand added 51 yards rushing, which included a 23-yard touchdown run. He also caught five passes for 65 yards. Calvary improved to 10-0, 7-0.
