Plantation records easy home win over Blanche Ely, 42-15

Plantation’s defense converted three turnovers by Blanche Ely (0-2) into 22 points en route to an easy home victory.

Running back Jordan Johnson rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns for the Colonels (2-0).

The Tigers could not build up any offensive momentum. Blanche Ely was held to just 6 yards rushing and the Colonels’ average starting field position in the first half was the Tigers’ 46-yard line.

Tyrik Jones: Scooped up a Tigers fumble and ran it back 25 yards for a score.

Geremy Taylor: Gained 62 yards receiving and scored a touchdown for Ely.
