Boyd Anderson dominates Douglas in victory, 41-22

Boyd Anderson senior linebacker Ricky Lewis dominated Douglas (0-2) from start to finish, with five sacks and two forced fumbles to get the Cobras their first home win since October 2013.

Boyd Anderson (2-0) scored the first four touchdowns of the game to go up 25-0 midway through the second quarter. Matthews ran in a 5-yard touchdown to put Douglas on the board with 20 seconds left in the half, but the Cobras responded by going 65 yards in two plays to go into halftime ahead 32-7.

Shabazz Telfort: The Boyd Anderson junior quarterback passed for 239 yards and three touchdowns on 16-of-29 passing.

Daniel Crescitelli: The Douglas junior fullback gained 90 yards on seven carries.
