McArthur scores twice in third quarter, beats Western 12-2

After a scoreless first half, McArthur (2-0) scored twice on the host Wildcats (1-1) in the third quarter on consecutive drives to get its second straight win. McArthur was 0-10 last season.

Both teams failed to score in the first half, despite each gaining just over 100 yards.

Jerome Lindo: Gave McArthur the lead for good on a 1-yard run in the third and ended with 59 yards.

Javon Seraphin: Scored the Mustangs’ second touchdown on a 53-yard run and ended with 89 yards.
