Cypress Bay shuts out Taravella 31-0

Cypress Bay (1-1) earned its first victory of the season with a balanced attack as the Lightning shut down Taravella (0-2) in a game delayed because of weather concerns.

Andrew Parchment ran in a pair of touchdowns (14 and 35 yards) and also scored on a three-yard pass.

Cypress Bay D: The Lightning defense held Taravella to just 11 yards passing.
