Coral Springs Charter’s boys and Stoneman Douglas’ girls secured the team championships of the annual BCAA Damian Huttenhoff Golf tournament on Wednesday at Country Club of Coral Springs.

Coral Springs Charter’s Hudson Fee led the Panthers by shooting a 68 to secure the individual boys’ championship.

Fee edged a trio of golfers - St. Thomas Aquinas’ Braden Chamberlain, Coral Glades’ Brayden Peeler and Chaminade’s Julian Paruas - by two shots after each shot a 70. After a tiebreaker playoff, Chamberlain finished second and Peeler placed third.

On the girls’ side, Coral Glades’ Bianca Gibbs finished two shots ahead of the rest of the field after she shot a 71 to win the individual title.

Douglas was led by Sutton Oosterhuis, who shot a 73 to finish tied for second with Coral Glades’ Shannon Glynn. Oosterhuis took second place after a tiebreaker.
