Coconut Creek Monarch wide receiver Samari Reed is the Miami Herald’s High School Football Player of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
Reed ran for 106 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries and scored a pair of 2-point conversions to lead the Knights to a 30-29 win over Peachtree Ridge in the Broward County National Football Showcase..
Miami Palmetto’s Corey Pruitt, Miami Northwestern’s Leon Strawder, Hollywood Chaminade’s J-Roc Lopez, Miami Carol City’s Brandon Thomas, Pembroke Pines West Broward’s Amos Bradford and Plantation American Heritage’s Byron Louis rounded out this week’s participants.
