Coral Gables’ kick to victory

▪  Coral Gables 14, South Dade 6: Coral Gables defeats South Dade after a key special team play by Johnny Ford changes momentum.

Cavs junior running back Ford had a key 80 yard kick return after South Dade scored the first touchdown of the game in the third quarter.

Ford said, "it was a slow first half but the kick return really changed the game."

The first half of play was a defensive match. Coral Gables had 5 first half sacks and South Dade had 3 sacks and a fumble recovery.
