TEAM OF THE WEEK

Jessica Gutierrez scored two goals, including the game winner, to lead the Flanagan girls’ soccer team past Miami Dr. Krop 3-2 in the District 14-5A final.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Nicholas Bonitto, St. Thomas Aquinas, boys’ basketball: Bonitto had a game-high 15 points to lead the Raiders over Coral Gables 64-46 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Classic.

Autumn Clark, Pine Crest, girls’ soccer: Clark’s goal in overtime held up as the Panthers (17-1-2) defeated rival Cardinal Gibbons 1-0 in the District 14-2A final.

Roshad Condell, Stranahan, wrestling: Condell won at 160 pounds to lead the Dragons over Coral Glades 54-24.

Myron Dewar, Coral Springs, boys’ basketball: Dewar had a game-high 22 points to lead the surging Colts (15-4) over Dwyer 53-46 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Basketball Classic.

Julian Araujo, Douglas, boys’ soccer: Araujo scored to lead the Eagles (15-0-4) over St. Thomas Aquinas 1-0.

Brianna Battle, Blanche Ely, girls’ basketball: Battle had a game-high 25 points, including seven three-pointers to lead the Tigers (16-3) over Nova 60-56 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Shootout.

Danielle Domino, Highlands Christian, girls’ basketball: Domino had a team-high 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Knights over Hollywood Christian 61-56 in overtime.

Gianna Guerriero, St. Thomas Aquinas, wrestling: Guerriero won at 113-pounds to lead the Raiders over Jensen Beach 44-27.
