Rain alters football schedule

Thursday’s nasty weather toyed with the high school football schedule a little bit as a pair of district games had to be rescheduled.

North Miami Beach and Dr. Krop rescheduled its District 13-8A game and will now play at Traz Powell Stadium Friday at 3 p.m.

Sunset and Goleman’s District 16-7A game was moved to Tropical Park on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Because of an early release day in Broward County, there were no big-classification games scheduled for Thursday.
