Jaime Saavedra of the Belen Jesuit track & field team is the Miami Herald Athlete of the Week for Week 31.
The sophomore won a region title in the javelin to help the Wolverines win their third consecutive region team championship. His winning throw was 184-feet, 10-inches in Miramar.
