Miami Herald High School Athlete of the Week 20: St. Brendan cheerleader Megan Martin

Megan Martin of the St. Brendan cheerleading team is the Miami Herald Athlete of the Week for Week 20.

The senior led the Sabres to their 10th FHSAA state title, after winning regionals. They then advanced to nationals.

Other nominees were: Journey Bey, Western cheerleading; Nylah Harper, West Broward cheerleading; J’adore Hayes, North Miami basketball; Stella Colombo, Ransom Everglades soccer; Tyler Metellus, Monarch wrestling; Ivan Kyryianenko, South Broward wrestling.
