Poll: Vote for the Miami Herald High School Athlete of the Week (19)
This week, we continue a feature where we ask you to vote for the best high school varsity performer of the week (in Broward and Miami-Dade counties).
This week includes nominees from high school basketball, soccer and wrestling.
Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until Thursday, Jan. 29 at around 10 p.m. You may vote as often as you like until then.

Alejandro Bird, Belen Jesuit basketball: the junior was the Player of the Game for scoring 12 points with 4 assists and 8 steals in a win over Miami High.
Tiffany Francisco, Western wrestling: the junior won the 100-pound title, going 4-0, at the Bulldog Brawl at South Broward High School in Hollywood to help the Wildcats place second of 25 girls’ teams.
Henry Copelin, Cardinal Gibbons soccer: the senior had two assists in a 3-0 win over Fort Lauderdale.
Danetchy Janvier, North Miami wrestling: the junior won the 105-poiund title to help lead the Pioneers to the team title of 25 girls’ teams at the Bulldog Brawl at South Broward High School in Hollywood.
Sidney Katz, Somerset Pembroke Pines wrestling: the sophomore continued his undefeated season (32-0) by winning the 165-pound title in a tough bracket and also earning Outstanding Wrestler honors at the Clay Rotary Tournament in Green Cove Springs.
Noah Lara, Coral Park basketball: during the GMAC Tournament, the sophomore scored 22 points with 13 rebounds against Palmetto, one of the top teams in the state. He also had 18 points and 11 rebounds against Dade Christian.
Arianna Ruiz, Mater Lakes Academy wrestling: the sophomore won the 125-pound title by going 3-0 (pinning each opponent) at the Lady Longhorns Lights Out Tournament at Harmony High School in St. Cloud.
