Miami Herald Athlete of the Week: Kate Welty of Gulliver Prep volleyball

Kate Welty of the Gulliver Prep girls’ volleyball team is the Miami Herald Athlete of the Week for Week 9.

The junior had 13 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 3 digs and 12 serve receive to help lead the Raiders to the District 16-3A title in a 5-set thriller over Ransom Everglades.
