Camila Busque of the Riviera Prep volleyball team is the Miami Herald Athlete of the Week for Week 5.

The senior libero (defensive specialist) for the 12-5 Bulldogs was named MaxPreps Match MVP in a thrilling 5-set win over Coral Reef. She had 5 aces, 13 digs and 11 receptions in the 5-set win..

Other nominees were: Carly Tabony, American Heritage volleyball; Hugo Stenstrom, Ransom Everglades golf; Paige Hill, Western volleyball; Skye Williams, Florida Christian School volleyball; Nicole Lewis, Doral Academy cross-country; Oscar Kramer, Coral Gables swimming; Remy Dou, Ferguson bowling; Ruth Martinez, Divine Savior volleyball; and Diego Eseverri, Columbus cross-country.
