The Patriots gathered to prepare more than 200 snack packs, which were generously donated and delivered by them to one of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida locations. The organization provides comfort to families who are spending long hours at the AdventHealth Children’s Hospital (primarily in NICU).

The snack packs are a small but impactful way to support families who are facing incredibly challenging times. After delivering the packs, the team had the opportunity to tour the Ronald McDonald House, gaining a deeper understanding of the significant role charitable efforts make in the lives of these families. It was a humbling and heartwarming experience, one that highlighted the importance of community support in times of need.

The team, placing seventh in the tournament, won on and off the court during that weekend -- proud to have contributed to such a worthy cause.

Bowling

It’s not easy attaining perfection in any sport.

The Dolphins Perfect Season in 1972, Indians pitcher Len Barker in 1981, Andre the Giant until he faced Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 3 in 1987. No other NFL team went undefeated. Only 24 perfect games thrown in Major League Baseball history. Andre wrestled 20-plus years, before being pinned for the first time by Hogan.

Rashawn Viart now knows that feeling of being perfect.

The senior bowled a perfect game - 300 - as the Ferguson boys’ bowling team defeated Barbara Goleman 7-0. It marked his first perfect game. He also scored the high series with 731 pins.

This victory marks the program’s seventh consecutive title at that event. After a shaky start to the season a few weeks prior, the team made a statement, reaffirming its status as a national contender.

Belen finished first with 39 points and a season-best team average of 15 minutes 49 seconds. The varsity invitational field included 51 teams from all classes.

Leading the charge for the Wolverines once again was junior Marcelo Mantecon, who was the overall race champion in 15:10 on the 5-kilometer course. Senior teammate Armando Cruz followed, placing second in 15:24.
