On the second weekend of high school state boys’ and girls’ basketball championship games for Classes 7A-4A at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Columbus, St. Thomas Aquinas, Blanche Ely and Stranahan all won state championships on the boys’ side. American Heritage and Southridge each finished state runners-up on the girls’ side while Doral Academy and Northeast’s girls lost in the semifinals.
