On the first weekend of high school state boys’ and girls’ basketball championship games for Classes 3A-1A at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Sagemont boys defeated Victory Christian Academy, Cardinal Mooney girls beat SLAM Miami, Calvary Christian boys topped Cardinal Gibbons and Miami Country Day girls won against Providence School.
