Results are in. Miami Lourdes soccer standout voted Herald High School Athlete of the Week

Miami Lourdes girls’ soccer player Andrea Mazin is the Miami Herald’s High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

The senior scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy.

Kosta Raicevic, Miami Dade Christian basketball; Isabella Sangha, Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest basketball; Omer Gan-El, Miami Krop soccer; Stephanie Vega, Miami Doral Academy basketball; Tomas Visintini, Miami Beach soccer; Emma Azar, Miami Krop soccer; Josiah Brooks, Miami COHEA basketball; Judnel Francois, Deerfield Beach soccer; and Nicholas Marquez, Davie NSU University soccer rounded out the participants in this week’s poll.

The Miami Herald Athlete of the Week poll opens Sunday every week and closes around 10 p.m. Thursday.
