Miami Gulliver Prep swimmer Reese Rosenthal is the Miami Herald’s High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

The senior was a quadruple winner (500 free at 25.56, 100 breast at 1:08.62, 200 medley relay at 1:54.26, and 200 free relay at 1:44.67) at districts in Class 2A girls, while helping the Raiders place second in the team standings.

Alec De Angulo, Miami Belen Jesuit swimming; Nohan Gomez, Miami Ransom Everglades swimming; Gia Culler-Guerra, Miami Springs golf; Nicole Lewis, Miami Doral Academy cross-country; Zoey Matias, Miami Westminster Christian volleyball; Sohan Patel, Plantation American Heritage golf; Alessandra Perez, Miami Lourdes cross-country; Lilly Riegger, Plantation American Heritage golf; Alina Rodriguez, Pompano Beach swimming; Lorenzo Rodriguez, Miami Belen Jesuit golf; Anthony Scarcello, Miami Columbus cross-country; Juan Vallmitjana, Davie NSU University swimming; Alexander Weinberg, Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest golf; Isabelle Wilson, Miami Carrollton swimming, rounded out the participants in this week’s poll.

The Miami Herald Football and Athlete of the Week polls open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
