Miami Riviera Prep volleyball standout Annemarie Perez is the Miami Herald’s High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
Perez had 10 kills and 7 blocks in a win over Coral Reef; had 8 kills and 4 blocks in a win over Fort Pierce Central; had 5 kills and 3 blocks in a loss to Jensen Beach; had 6 kills and 2 blocks in a win over Winter Park Lake Howell: 4 kills and 2 blocks in a win over New Smyrna Beach; had 5 kills and 5 blocks in a win over Jensen Beach.
Miami Gulliver Prep golfer Arya Luthra, Doral Divine Savior volleyball player Ruth Martinez, Miami Ransom Everglades golfer Cole Durham, Miami Southridge bowler Joysbeliz Reyes, Plantation swimmer Benjamin Cupid, Miami COHEA bowler Krystal Fernandez, Plantation swimmer Chloe Cupid, Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons swimmer Claudia Medina, Miami Columbus golfer Eduardo Perez and Hollywood South Broward swimmer Tajhari Williams rounded out the participants in this week’s poll.
