Results are in. Archbishop Carroll’s Suarez voted High School Football Player of the Week

Miami Archbishop Carroll linebacker Isaiah Suarez is the Miami Herald’s High School Football Player of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

Suarez led the Bulldogs defense with 10 tackles and a forced fumble as they beat True North to put themselves in position to clinch a district title.

Miami Beach linebacker Mykel Nichols, Miami Norland quarterback Ennio Yapoor, Miami Coral Reef running back Isaiah Roque, Plantation American Heritage quarterback Dia Bell, Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons quarterback Jayden Torres and Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian athlete Yohan-Li Louis rounded out this week’s participants.

The Miami Herald Football and Athlete of the Week polls open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
