Miami Belen Jesuit edged Miami Columbus by two strokes to win the Boys’ Catholic Quad Golf Tournament at Miami Springs Golf & Country Club.
Belen senior Lorenzo Rodriguez won the event with a 3-under par 68, four shots ahead of runner-up Eduardo Perez, a sophomore at Columbus. Rodriguez scored all pars and birdies. Teammates Daniel Garcia (76) and Beckett Castro (77) added solid rounds to also help lead the victorious Wolverines.
Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy was third, followed by Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons.

Cole Durham won medalist honors with 2-under par 33 to lead Miami Ransom Everglades boys’ golf over Miami Westminster Christian and Miami Palmetto at Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables.
▪ Miami Gulliver Prep seventh grader Arya Luthra took medalist honors with an even-par 35 in a tie with the MAST girls’ team at Crandon Golf Course in Key Biscayne.
This is Luthra’s second medalist result and her third sub-40 round. As for the team competition, they tied at 188, and there was no playoff tiebreaker because of darkness.
