Results are in. Miami Central’s McQueen voted High School Football Player of the Week
Miami Central quarterback Anthony McQueen is the Miami Herald’s High School Football Player of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
McQueen completed 17 of 24 passes for 352 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and also ran for 56 yards and a score in a 35-32 win over Plantation American Heritage.
Coconut Creek Monarch quarterback Jack Spaeder, Miami Ransom Everglades quarterback Neimann Lawrence, True North linebacker Ricky Carter and Sunrise Piper defensive back Alex Gammage rounded out this week’s participants.
