Varela volleyball standout Abigail Nunez is the Miami Herald’s High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

Nunez had 15 aces, 34 digs and 10 assists in a 25-20, 15-25, 26-24, 25-12 victory over (Miami) iMater.
