The South Plantation wrestling team won the District 14-3A title at West Broward HS in Pembroke Pines.
The Paladins, qualifying 12 for regionals, celebrated four district champions and four runners-up. Western had one district champ and six runners-up, and Cypress Bay totaled three district champs and two runners-up.

District Champion South Dade
The dynasty continues for South Dade wrestling as the Buccaneers won another district title to begin another run at another state title.
South Dade won the District 16-3A Championship at Ferguson HS. The Buccaneers totaled 316 points. Runner-up Southwest Miami, which seems to be the only team to give South Dade a challenge in recent years, took runner-up honors with 243.5 points.
With nine district champs and five runners-up, all 14 wrestlers from South Dade qualified for regionals.

The Patriots scored 284.5 points, 105.5 points better than runner-up Archbishop McCarthy. Miramar celebrated seven individual district champions and five runners-up.
The second place Mavericks had two district champs and two runners-up, and third place Dillard had three district champs and three runners-up.
