The latest installment of the Miami Herald’s South Florida Top 10 rankings has a new leader on the girls’ side as St. Thomas Aquinas surges to No. 1 after a series of impressive victories capped with its second consecutive BCAA Big 8 tournament title. Columbus remains atop the boys’ rankings after a dominant showing to win its second consecutive GMAC championship.

The road to Lakeland continues this week with the BCAA Big 8 boys tournament and the girls beginning their district tournaments.

Here’s where the rest of the state’s best rank through Monday’s games:
