High school football resuming Friday in South Florida after Hurricane Ian postponements

Hurricane Ian forced the cancellation or postponement of several high school football games this weekend.

Games are set to resume on Friday around Miami-Dade and Broward Counties with several to be played on Monday and Tuesday night.

Some games were also postponed to later in the season.

The following games were canceled: Boyd Anderson-Dillard, Stranahan-Hallandale, Miramar-St. Thomas Aquinas, Western-Piper, South Broward-West Monroe (La.), Avant Garde-Ocoee Legacy Charter.
