“Winning the San Diego Classic [in April] was a measure for us of how the team was,” Coach Yunian Cabrera said. “This was great competition at nationals, and having two boys back from last year helped lead the team. We also have six juniors on the team, and that will give us a good challenge next year to win it again.”

Seniors C. Marin and Menendez repeated as national champions. Menendez will row for Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Ugas will compete for the University of Delaware.

Seniors Collin Renae and Jules Kramer of Miami Beach Rowing Club teamed to win Boys Youth 2X in 6:42.54. This was their first national championship. Kramer will row for Cornell University, and Renae will compete for MIT.
