Westland Hialeah at Goleman postponed
The Goleman Gators and the Westland Hialeah Wildcats were only able to play for a little over three minutes on Friday evening at Milander Park. The game was called with 8:41 left in the first quarter after a lightning delay that lasted for over an hour.
Westland Hialeah started off the game with a turnover on downs. Goleman had a 7-0 lead after Claudius Pubien scored on a 17 yard touchdown run. Pubien had two rushes for 35 total yards and the lone touchdown of the night.
After the touchdown, Westland Hialeah was rewarded the ball at their own 35 yard line after a defensive facemask call on the ensuing kickoff. The game will resume at Goleman on Monday, September 21st at 4:00 PM.
