Reagan remains undefeated in girls’ volleyball

The Ronald Reagan girls’ volleyball team remained undefeated after edging last year’s 16-7A district champion, Alonzo and Tracy Mourning, in five sets on Tuesday afternoon.

Ivana Brull had 16 kills and nine digs in the 25-21, 25-23, 14-25, 23-25, 15-11 victory. Sara Requena added 10 kills and 11 digs for the Bison (7-0). Pilar Albar-Diaz added 14 assists and 10 digs. Wilnelis Giusti dished out 17 assists and added 14 digs, and Isabella Pacheco had 28 digs.

The young Bison team finished last season 12-5 and lost in the regional semifinals.
