Adam Scott overtakes Phil Mickelson for lead at Doral

Adam Scott took over the lead in the second round of the World Golf Championshps-Cadillac Championship on Friday at Trump National Doral, standing at 4-under-par for the day and 8 under for the tournament.

Scott had five holes left in his round on the Blue Monster course.

Scott, who won last week's Honda Classic, recorded birdies on 1, 2, 6, 7 and 12.

Phil Mickelson led for most of the day but took a double-bogey on No. 15 when he hit in the water. Mickelson, who had three holes left to play, was one of seven players two strokes behind Scott at minus-6.
