Rances Barthelemy to defend title against Mickey Bey

Rances Barthelemy will defend his International Boxing Federation lightweight title against former champion Mickey Bey June 3 at Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood.

A native of Cuba, Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs, 1 NC) will make the first defense of the belt he won against Denis Shafikov last December. Bey (22-1-1, 10 KOs) previously held the IBF title in 2014.

The bout will be the first local title match of the year and will headline the second South Florida fight card of 2016.
