In the last few weeks, MCCC announced dozens of new guests for the massive event, with more than 100 celebrities, comic book creators, cosplayers, writers, artists, and entertainers scheduled to appear.

Some of the highlights include:

* Doctor Who stars: Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) and Peter Davison (The 5th Doctor).

* Bill Nye “The Science Guy” (Dancing with the Stars) appearing Friday, Jan. 15 - sponsored by Brainchildren Creative Studios, benefiting The Ann Storck Center. The Ann Storck Center

* Dan Slott - writer of The Amazing Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, She-Hulk, Ren & Stimpy, The Thing, The Mighty Avengers, and Arkham Asylum: Living Hell.

* John Wesley Shipp, best known for his roles as Barry Allen “The Flash” on CBS’s The Flash (1990), Henry Allen (Barry’s dad) on the current Flash series on the CW, and Mitch Leery (Dawson’s dad) on Dawson’s Creek.

* Laura Tyler, make up artist and star of SyFy’s Face Off.

* Irene Bedard: Star of Disney’s Pocahontas.
