Interviewing Pretty Deadly about WWE in Miami for SmackDown, followed by the Royal Rumble

They rose to the top of the tag team scene in NXT UK. Then they did the same in NXT. Now they are climbing the ladder (maybe with some tables and chairs) to the top of WWE’s tag team division.

WWE superstars Elton Prince and Kit Wilson are Pretty Deadly. Yep, that’s their name, and it fits.

In my video interview with them, both discuss their journey thus far and their ride currently, leading to two more big shows, emanating in Florida: WWE “Friday Night SmackDown” on FOX from Kesaya Center, home of the NBA Miami Heat, on Jan. 26, 2024, followed by one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year, the Royal Rumble on Jan. 27, 2024 on Peacock from Tropicana Field, home of the MLB Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg/Tampa.

FYI, the talented lads from England already have a royal plan, when they are the final two superstars in the ring in the rumble.

Pretty Deadly made that coveted leap to the main roster in May, after being drafted by the blue brand SmackDown from NXT.

In NXT UK, Pretty Deadly won the tag team titles by defeating Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) on the Feb. 25, 2021 edition of NXT UK.In NXT, Pretty Deadly defeated the Creed Brothers in a gauntlet match, also involving Legado Del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde), Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Grayson Waller & Sanga, to win the vacant NXT tag team championship, making them the first tag team to win the titles on their NXT debut and the second team to hold the NXT and NXT UK tag team titles.

The Creed Brothers beat Pretty Deadly for those titles, but later at NXT Worlds Collide, Pretty Deadly made more history by unifying the NXT UK and NXT tag team titles after winning a fatal 4-way tag team elimination match with the Creed Brothers, Gallus and Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs.

In WWE on SmackDown, Pretty Deadly won a tag team gauntlet match to become the No.1 contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, but then champs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn beat them on the June 30th episode of SmackDown in London.

With their victories in tag team gauntlets and multi-team matches, Pretty Deadly can proudly wear the moniker “The Gallant Gauntlet Gentlemen.”

The two massive shows in Florida in January for WWE has Pretty Deadly psyched, ready as they spent plenty of time competing for NXT on its Citrus Circuit/Coconut Loop in the Sunshine State.
