Inside Inter Miami: Phil Neville analyzes World Cup drama, USA, Harry Kane heroics

The World Cup knockout rounds have begun and there has been no shortage of drama!

Team USA, down a man for the final 36 minutes after a Folarin Balogun red card, showed grit and poise to hang on for a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina to advance to the Round of 16. It was the first knockout stage win for the United States in 24 years.

England had quite a scare against DR Congo before talisman Harry Kane saved the day with a pair of late goals. African teams continue to impress with nine of 10 teams reaching the knockout stage. One of them, Cape Verde, will face Lionel Messi and Argentina Friday at Hard Rock Stadium.

In this week’s episode of Inside Inter Miami podcast, special guest Phil Neville, the former England fullback, Manchester United star and former Inter Miami coach, offers his analysis on all of the week’s World Cup matches, previews upcoming games, shares his thoughts on Team USA, England, African soccer, underachieving Portugal, Cup favorites, fan experience, and hydration breaks.
