Marco Rubio, Kash Patel attend Colombia vs. Portugal World Cup match in Miami

Secretary of State Marco Rubio attended the World Cup match between Colombia and Portugal at Hard Rock Stadium, with the West Miami Republican arriving with local soccer moguls Jose and Jorge Mas.

Shortly after 7 p.m., Rubio was spotted being dropped off by a security detail on a side entrance to the stadium. Dressed in a blazer and open collar shirt, he greeted personnel stationed in the private walkway reserved for high-profile guests.

Rubio was later spotted in the stands with FBI Director Kash Patel and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

This is Rubio’s second known World Cup, with the nation’s top diplomat also attending the U.S. team’s debut match against Paraguay in Los Angeles on June 13. His appearance at Saturday’s match was well chronicled by attendees at the match, including Francis Suarez, the former Miami mayor, who posted a photo with Rubio during the game in what appeared to be a stadium suite.
