Can you go to the stadium without a Miami World Cup ticket?
You don’t have a ticket for the World Cup match Monday evening in Miami Gardens?
Don’t expect to find one at the stadium. In fact, don’t even bother going to the stadium. You won’t be admitted to the parking lot without one. And you can’t even take an official shuttle bus without a verified ticket.
Here’s what to know:
- Fans without valid match tickets will not be permitted on stadium property or in the surrounding parking lots. There will be no watch parties or areas to congregate outside the stadium.
- Ticket holders will pass through multiple ticket and security checkpoints in order to enter the stadium. Fans should expect heavy law enforcement and security presence at all matches.
- Tickets may still be available on the secondary market — but expect to pay hundreds or even thousand sof dollars for one.
- All parking must be pre-purchased directly from FIFA at their official parking website. Only verified ticketholders can purchase parking for their match day. Parking will not be available for purchase at the stadium on match day. Only vehicles with valid FIFA parking passes will be permitted to pass through road closures on match day surrounding the stadium. Parking gates open four hours before match time.
- If you purchased an official parking pass, in addition to the electronic pass you received via e-mail, you MUST print and display a special PDF that was included in the e-mail and put it on your windshield. Traffic officials will only allow cars with this pass to access roads entering the stadium.
- If you ride the official shuttle bus to the stadium from designated hubs, the first rule to remember is to have your verified ticket on hand at all times. You’ll need it to board the shuttles going to and from the stadium. Shuttle service is available exclusively for verified ticket holders.
- Fans will be allowed to line up at designated areas at each shuttle hub no earlier than five hours before kickoff. The first of the Miami games is Saudi Arabia vs. Uruguay at 6 p.m. Monday, June 15. You can start lining up at 1 p.m. and board at 2 p.m. for that day.
