Here’s where World Cup fans without tickets can watch matches in South Florida
Soccer fans in South Florida who can’t get World Cup tickets for the seven games at Hard Rock Stadium will be able to experience the tournament atmosphere for free at multiple community watch parties.
The largest party will be the FIFA Fan Festival Miami at Bayfront Park, where 436,000 square feet of park space will be transformed into a global gathering place for 23 days. Up to 30,000 fans per day are expected.
Giant digital screens will broadcast matches throughout the tournament while a 10,000-capacity amphitheater stage will host live performances, cultural showcases, and other programming between games.
In addition to the Fan Festival Miami, the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee will host a series of official family-friendly public watch parties across Miami-Dade County.
Fans who want to see Colombia vs. Portugal and its legendary captain Cristiano Ronaldo on June 27 are invited to a watch party at Palmetto Golf Course (9300 S.W. 152nd St.). Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. for this high-profile match, the hottest and most expensive ticket in the group stage. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
On July 18, the day of the Bronze Medal third-place game, fans will be able to watch at Little Haiti Park and North Beach Sand Bowl in Miami Beach. Doors open at 4 p.m. and kickoff is at 5 p.m.
A day later, for the June 19 World Cup Final, which is being played in East Rutherford, New Jersey, fans in South Florida can watch at Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah, the North Beach Sand Bowl and Tropical Park in Miami. Doors open at 2 p.m. and kickoff is at 3 p.m.
“This summer, the eyes of the world will be on Miami-Dade, and Bayfront Park is where we show them who we are,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “The FIFA Fan Festival Miami will be filled with the passion, energy, and pride that define our community. From the roar of the crowd to the rhythms of our neighborhoods, this is fútbol in Miami — bold, vibrant, and unlike anywhere else.”
City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins added. “I am proud of the entire City of Miami team, who are ready to help ensure that the millions of people visiting our unique city have a spectacular and safe experience. We cannot wait to see Bayfront filled with fans, community pride, and unforgettable FIFA World Cup 2026 moments.”
Curacao to train at FAU
FAU announced on Friday that it was selected by the Curaçao World Cup team as its official training site and team headquarters.
The Miami Herald reported the news in January, per sources in Curacao, but it was finally confirmed by FAU.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the Curaçao Blue Wave to Florida Atlantic,” said FAU President Adam Hasner. “Hosting a World Cup team is an exciting opportunity, and we look forward to sharing the energy and spirit of our campus and South Florida community with Curaçao’s players and fans this summer. This is a unique chance to experience World Cup soccer firsthand while showcasing Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach County on a global stage.”
Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White said: “The selection is a testament, not only to our incredible facilities, but the world-class destination that Boca Raton has become. Boca is a soccer-rich community, and FAU’s history of championship success in the sport is deep-rooted under the leadership of women’s head coach Patrick Baker and men’s head coach Joey Worthen. I am grateful for the cooperation between our staff, our campus partners and our partners at the Palm Beach Sports Commission. This is a showcase for our programs, our facilities, our campus and our awesome hometown to the world.”
The Dutch Caribbean island nation of Curaçao, which is in the southern Caribbean Sea near Aruba, is making its World Cup debut in 2026. It is the smallest nation ever to qualify.
Curacao’s Group stage matches are June 14 vs. Germany in Houston, June 20 vs. Ecuador in Kansas City and June 25 vs. Ivory Coast in Philadelphia.
Boca Raton will also serve as the hub for Curaçao’s fans and media, with community events and engagements still to be determined.
