During the third quarter of Florida’s rout over Georgia, freshman tailback Jordan Cronkrite was ejected for targeting on a blindside block.
The former Westminster Christian standout didn’t launch his body, but he hit a defenseless player and made brief contact with the player’s helmet. Cronkrite must sit out the first half of Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.

“In that case, defenseless player, our guy was hustling, their guy was hustling and he hit him a little high. It wasn’t malicious, but it’s the rule. I look at it as a teachable moment.”
