2-QB system to be used against Missouri

Florida’s division title hopes hang by a thread, but beleaguered junior Jeff Driskel remains the team’s starting quarterback — just with a very short leash.

The Gators will employ a two-quarterback system against Missouri (7 p.m., ESPN2), with true freshman Treon Harris scheduled to see extensive playing time.

Florida has yet to designate a rotation for the signal callers, and coach Will Muschamp indicated it could be a fluid situation on Saturday.

“We’re going to see who has the hot hand, and who’s helping our football team and gives us the best opportunity to win,” Muschamp said. “We’ll make a decision as we go through the game. Both guys deserve and have earned the opportunity to play.”

THIS & THAT

Wideout Latroy Pittman, carted off on a stretcher late in the fourth quarter against LSU, practiced Wednesday and is questionable against Missouri.
