Lamical Perine loves the spotlight.

The Florida running back has scored both a rushing and receiving touchdown in two consecutive bowl games. No Gator has done that in the past 20 seasons.

Perine started strong against Virginia, taking a handoff up the middle 61 yards to the house on the fourth play of the game. He followed up with a 16-yard catch and run on their third drive.

As of 2:13 in the second quarter, Perine has totaled 138 yards and three scores on eight touches.

The Gators running back finished with 98 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns against Michigan in the 2018 Peach Bowl.

Only Percy Harvin has finished with a similar statline in a bowl game. In the 2008 Capital One Bowl against Michigan, Harvin had a whopping 242 yards from scrimmage and two scores.
