Eight FIU football players honored by Conference USA

Conference USA announced its 2015 all-conference honors and eight Panthers earned a combined nine awards for their performances this past season.

Seniors Michael Wakefield and Richard Leonard earned first-team, all-conference honors, and junior Michael Montero and freshman Anthony Wint earned second-team recognition and junior Jonnu Smith, seniors Denzell Perine, Jeremiah McKinnon and Sam Medlock received C-USA honorable mention.
