FIU Panthers’ offense is struggling

If you haven’t watched FIU’s past two games and need evidence that the Panthers lost their offensive pop over that time, check out the numbers: FIU sophomore quarterback Alex McGough ranks 13th nationally in completions per game (24.4), 36th nationally in completion percentage (64.6), but FIU as a team ranks 127th out of 127 Football Bowl Subdivision teams in yards per completion (9.3).

Owens Closes on TD record

Sophmore wide receiver Thomas Owens, who has touchdown catches in four consecutive games, is only three touchdown catches from the FIU season record of eight set by junior tight end Jonnu Smith last year.
