FIU Panthers players help raise interest in team

FIU didn’t practice Tuesday. This gave eight players, draped in their jerseys, time to deliver season tickets to fans around FIU’s main campus.

Sophomore running back Alex Gardner; redshirt freshman quarterback Bud Martin; senior running back Lamarq Caldwell; sophomore wide receiver Shawn Abrams; junior linebacker De’Shawn Hazziez; freshman cornerback Tyree Johnson; junior linebacker Madison Kubat; and sophomore wide receiver Julian Williams did the distributing.

The athletic department’s marketing side wants players to help raise interest among students and faculty by increased interaction.
