FIU Panthers coach Ron Turner says offense has more versatility

During Ron Turner’s first two seasons as coach, the former NFL offensive coordinator felt limited on his team’s repertoire. Not so much anymore.

“I don’t think we’ll have to hold anything back,” Turner said. “We’ll finally be able to do what we want to do.”

Turner said the best quality he has seen over the first three days of camp is “the retention is very good. We’re ahead of where we were when we ended spring ball. We’ve added some things very quickly. We’ve thrown a lot at them in three days. The retention has been outstanding in all phases.”
